9″ Heavy Duty Dash Display + Numberplate Frame Reversing Camera Kit (option of 600TVL or 1080P AHD camera) – PM95F

  • This reversing camera kit comes with a heavy duty surface mounted monitor display, fitted with a 9″ LCD panel. This monitor comes with a “U shape” dashboard mounting bracket that fits to the side mounting points. It also has a rear channel to fit our other mounting brackets.
  • Comes with a numberplate reversing camera, fitted with one of two top specification image sensors – either the 600TVL PC1058 premium CMOS, or the upgrade option fitted with the GalaxyCore 1080P AHD (see more about the upgrade option further down).
  • Fitted with a very wide angle (150 degrees) lens – ideal for parking.
  • Premium Aspheric Lens – means that despite the extra wide angle, it minimises the “fish bowl” effect you see on cheaper cameras.
  • Traditionally this style of camera has caused us and others a nightmare in terms of waterproofing (or lack of). The factory who produces this has done an amazing job and we have yet to have one leak after selling hundreds. The price of these to us are double what we would pay for most cameras, but they are the only factory that we trust with this style design.

Camera options: The standard 600TVL CMOS sensor provides a clear reversing image, while the GalaxyCore 1080P AHD upgrade increases monitor resolution by 60% with an IPS panel, giving improved dynamic range, colour accuracy, and low-light vision.

Lens design: A 150° aspheric wide-angle lens maximises visibility while minimising distortion. Perfect for parking in tight spaces.

Waterproof reliability: Unlike many cheaper numberplate cameras prone to leaking, this model uses robust mechanical seals and has proven long-term reliability. Rated IP69K for the toughest conditions.

Simple fitting: Installation is straightforward – remove your existing numberplate, slide it into the new frame camera, and reattach using the same screw positions. The wire feeds in neatly using the supplied grommet or a small notch near the numberplate light.

Power options: Supplied with a standard hardwire lead. Optional lighter plug or fuse tap adaptors (standard, mini, or micro blade) are available for quick installation. Fuse taps include a pre-crimped 200 cm lead with chassis ground terminal.

4-pin aviation cabling: GX12 connectors ensure secure, weatherproof connections that resist CANBUS interference and maintain signal quality over long runs. High-quality pure copper cores are used for long-term reliability.

How to install the numberplate frame camera

  1. Unscrew your existing numberplate from the vehicle.
  2. Slide the plate into the new numberplate frame camera.
  3. Reattach the numberplate and frame to the vehicle using the same screws.
  4. Route the cable inside via the light cluster or supplied grommet channel.

Power Options Info

Choice of kit power options

  • On the monitor wiring harness is a 2.1mm DC socket. On the drop down menu of this product, you can select your desired power lead to plug in to this.
  • The standard hardwiring is supplied with all options, this terminates in a red wire (+12V/+24V), and black wire (earth).
  • For the ultimate quick install is a lighter plug option. Some people also order this just for the initial setup, before changing to the standard hardwiring.
  • Fuse taps aka piggyback fuse holders, are the most recent addition to our options. This allows you to “piggyback” off an existing circuit from your fuse box. We have standard blade, mini blade, or micro blade available to match your fuse box. Read our Fuse Tap installation instructions PDF for more information.
