  • This reversing camera kit comes with a heavy duty surface mounted monitor display, fitted with a 9″ LCD panel. This monitor comes with a “U shape” dashboard mounting bracket that fits to the side mounting points. It also has a rear channel to fit our other mounting brackets.
  • Comes with a numberplate reversing camera, fitted with one of two top specification image sensors – either the 600TVL PC1058 premium CMOS, or the upgrade option fitted with the GalaxyCore 1080P AHD (see more about the upgrade option further down).
  • Fitted with a very wide angle (150 degrees) lens – ideal for parking.
  • Premium Aspheric Lens – means that despite the extra wide angle, it minimises the “fish bowl” effect you see on cheaper cameras.
  • Traditionally this style of camera has caused us and others a nightmare in terms of waterproofing (or lack of). The factory who produces this has done an amazing job and we have yet to have one leak after selling hundreds. The price of these to us are double what we would pay for most cameras, but they are the only factory that we trust with this style design.

Camera options: The 600TVL CMOS sensor delivers clear images for everyday reversing, while the GalaxyCore 1080P AHD upgrade boosts resolution by 60%, with an IPS panel display, improved dynamic range, and richer colours.

Lens design: Fitted with a 150° aspheric wide-angle lens, this camera reduces the “fish bowl” distortion common on cheaper cameras while giving maximum coverage for safer parking.

Waterproof reliability: Numberplate cameras are often prone to leaking, but this factory’s mechanical seal design has been proven over years of supply with no failures. Rated IP69K, it is one of the most robust reversing cameras available.

Power options: Supplied with a standard hardwire lead. Optional lighter plug or fuse taps (standard, mini, or micro blade) are available for fast installation. Fuse taps include a pre-crimped 200 cm lead with a chassis earth terminal.

Power Options Info

Choice of kit power options

  • On the monitor wiring harness is a 2.1mm DC socket. On the drop down menu of this product, you can select your desired power lead to plug in to this.
  • The standard hardwiring is supplied with all options, this terminates in a red wire (+12V/+24V), and black wire (earth).
  • For the ultimate quick install is a lighter plug option. Some people also order this just for the initial setup, before changing to the standard hardwiring.
  • Fuse taps aka piggyback fuse holders, are the most recent addition to our options. This allows you to “piggyback” off an existing circuit from your fuse box. We have standard blade, mini blade, or micro blade available to match your fuse box. Read our Fuse Tap installation instructions PDF for more information.
