This brake light camera is designed as a factory-style replacement for Mercedes Sprinter (2006–present) and Volkswagen Crafter (2006–2017). It replaces the upper brake light with an OEM-style housing that integrates a reversing camera, giving a tidy appearance while adding a clear and reliable parking view.
The camera uses our long-proven PC4089 image sensor, paired with a high-quality all-glass composite lens, producing a clear and reliable 700 TVL CVBS image with good colour and contrast. We’ve used this sensor for many years because we know it performs reliably to a high standard and it outperforms many lower-down versions commonly found elsewhere. A 160° diagonal viewing angle provides generous coverage behind the van, helping with everyday parking and manoeuvring.

Clear and reliable CVBS (NTSC) image from upgraded PC4089 sensor – Outputs a standard CVBS NTSC video signal compatible with the vast majority of aftermarket reversing camera monitors, dash displays and head units. The PC4089 sensor delivers a clear and reliable 700 TVL image with great colour replication and good contrast.
High-quality all-glass composite lens – Uses an all-glass composite lens rather than plastic-glass alternatives. This helps maintain clarity over time and avoids the UV sun-fade and “milky” look often seen with cheaper lenses.
160° diagonal wide viewing angle – Provides a wide and usable rear view when reversing, offering good coverage behind the vehicle to avoid any hazards.
IP68 waterproof construction – Fully sealed IP68 housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it and suitable for vehicles that live outside year-round.
4-pin aviation connector – Supplied with a standard 4-pin aviation connector, compatible with most aftermarket CVBS monitors and extension cables.
Optional extension cables – 5 m to 15 m 4-pin extension cables are available to suit short, medium and long wheelbase vans.
